The council also deals with many subjects that are important for international students. Like English programmes, housing, and communication to international students. It is important that students are represented well. Your vote is important, because you can realize a better university for students like yourself.

The GSb has a student party within the university council. Through representation of the students of the Hanze, we work on a better university, for Dutch students and for International students. Because international students encounter different problems then Dutch students, there should be international students in the council as well. That is why the GSb has three international students on the top of their list. With Ramez Braun, Maria Kuznetsova and Maryna Burushkina, the GSb has the most international oriëntated list.

3. Maryna
Buruhskina

They know by experience that international students encounter certain problems. That’s why they are well suited to offer the right solutions. Some of the issues they would like to work on are:

  1. Canteen prices should be more affordable.
  2. More contact hours and walk-in hours with teachers.
  3. Vote GSb to improve your ACC. More personal contact instead of mandatory writing assignments.
  4. Study associations: Every study should have an association which gets rewarded when doing social responsible activities, like study guidance.
  5. Mock exams with answers for every subject.

Why should students vote in general?

Voting is the way to influence the future policy of the Hanze University

Why should people vote for our party?

The Groningen Student union is the party in the HMR who commits to and activly represents all students. We have a broad vision and we have practical solutions for a better Hanze University.
